Romance is not my genre in picking books, Usually they are laden with infidelity and drama that can really set a bad example of how romantic relationships can develop. Someone gets their way by hurting another and it is all okay. We need less of that example in todays culture.I was pleasantly surprised by this book. It sets a good example of how a strong christian relationship should start. It leaves hope in your mind that there are still good people with good values in the world who are trying to set good examples for their children. It is a book of second chances, and we all need to hear that. I got lost in the story, and I pretty much ate it up. I am sad it is over, but happy that I don't have to run to the confessional because of the content.
It is one to enjoy.

This book is like big bear hug. Once I settled into it, it warmed my heart and lifted my spirit
Lisa Lehr has created wonderfully fun and believable characters who have lots of obstacles to overcome. And they do - in the most entertaining way!
This is a delightful romp through a world I wouldn't mind living in for real.

I loved this book! It was such an easy, relaxing read. I fell in love with the characters and now I'm dying to find out what happens next in their lives. These are now old friends and although fictional, I still want to know what is happening in their lives. Thanks for a pleasant story with engaging people. They were all such nice people and enjoyable to be with. I'm ready for the next book! I also appreciated that there wasn't any foul language nor explicit sex.
Beautifully written, eloquent and sweet. I gobbled this book up as if it were dark, sweet chocolate. Couldn't put it down and didn't want to. With a great love story, and complete lack of profanity the writer earns 5 stars.

The previous reviews are true. "Touching the Brilliance of Sunrise" is indeed uplifting, refreshing, joyful...
But what's also truly extraordinary about this story is the impression it made on me after I turned over the last page a spontaneous and irresistible desire to re-prioritize what's really important to me in my own life. Reading the journey of this couple growing in love together is inspirational. You have to read this novel yourself to understand the power behind the underlying moral of the story.
Love is a precious gift, and this book is a much-needed reminder of that.
Touching the Brilliance of Sunrise is a gem of a novel! I was entirely delighted with it from beginning to end. It captures the reader with a strong sense that the characters and their lives are real, which makes each of the characters very compelling. In addition, what is even more compelling is that the main characters behave according to strong moral convictions and beliefs and that causes this story to be both refreshing and uplifting. The story, however, is not without real feelings and real struggles in all realms of the human experience. A beautiful picture of frienship, faith, family, reconciliation, forgiveness,and love is portrayed in the pages of this book. Friendship and love are portrayed as not only based on honesty, admiration,encouragement, and respect, but also selflessness. The characters in this story are not perfect but do strive to connect with one another and in so doing to improve their relationships. Touching the Brilliance of Sunrise is an inspirational story that has real depth and provides the reader with inescapable joy.
